Product Abstract
The Lavender plant grows to about 1 meter in height and produces long, thin, purple-blue flowers. The entire plant is covered with star-shaped hairs containing oil glands. Differences in soil, altitude, temperature, precipitation, and seasons contribute to subtle changes in the scent from one lot of Lavender to another. Lavender has been used since ancient times, when the Romans added it to their bath water; hence, its name originates from the Latin Lavare, meaning “to wash”.
