Product Abstract
Ravintsara Essential Oil comes from the leaves of the Camphor tree, which is a broad-leaved evergreen native to Asia. Camphor trees can reach a height of 15-30 meters and display small white to cream colored flowers in spring that give way to small, black, berry-like fruits. They are known for their shiny dark and light green leaves, which release a distinctive camphoraceous odor when crushed. Not to be confused with Ravensara Essential Oil (Ravensara aromatic), Ravintsara oil has a high concentration of 1,8-Cineole, which endows it with its distinctive aroma.
